Imagine a 55,000 square-foot, 3-story venue with 20+ artisanal restaurant stalls, 5 bars, a sprawling outdoor beer garden, an on-site brewery, and a huge stage with a 24-ft. LED screen. This is Legacy Hall.

Legacy Hall is a European-style food hall in Plano, TX acting as the anchor tenant of Legacy West's upscale outdoor shopping center. What's a food hall? It's basically a sexy cafeteria; one that is made up of many unique, often local, chef-driven restaurant stalls.

Legacy Hall describes the unique experience it offers with 3 words: Dine, Drink, and Discover.

There's really something for everyone here - picky eaters and adventurous foodies alike.

Legacy Hall has over 20 rotating restaurant stalls with all kinds of tasty offerings from fresh Indian Naan Wraps to authentic Neapolitan Pizza to French Macarons to classic Cheesesteak Sandwiches.

Since opening in December 2017, the Hall has rotated almost a dozen of its vendors to keep up the variety and intrigue. You'll recognize some bigger names like Velvet Taco, SusieCakes, and Shark Tank winner Press Waffle Co.

My friend with a more simple palate normally goes for the German Brat and Beer Cheese Fries from Degenhardt's Brat Haus while my foodie partner dresses up her Lamb Bowl and Pita Bread from Shawarma Bar with allll the toppings possible! Like I said- there's something for everyone!

My three favorite food items at Legacy Hall:

  1. Chicken Tikka Masala Bowl with fresh naan bread from Blist'r

  2. Barnyard Cobb Salad from Roots Chicken Shak

  3. Philly Slider from Son of A Butcher

Crawl the Hall to find a bar (or two) on every floor!

1ST FLOOR: Bar Main highlights specialty cocktails while Blush Wine Bar staffs up with knowledgeable sommeliers and celebrates 1/2 off Wine Down Wednesdays

2ND FLOOR: Good View Bar has a great covered patio and the best view of the big stage for concerts and movie nights!

3RD FLOOR: Unlawful Assembly Brewing Co. Brewery is located on the third floor. You can even go on comedian-led tours of the brewery on Saturdays from 1pm - 4pm. The Taproom upstairs also has the only full-service restaurant in the Hall called High Bar Kitchen + Tap serving a full selection of UABC craft brews.

BOX GARDEN: Legacy Hall's outdoor entertainment venue called the Box Garden is lined with food and alcohol stands disguised as huge shipping containers. The Frozen Cocktails stand is open in the summertime, a Beer Bucket container opens during concerts and special events, and their UABC Outpost serves a limited selection of beer from its on-site brewery.

As cliché as it sounds, you really never know what you're going to discover at Legacy Hall.

In addition to their classic celebrations like Cinco de Mayo, they throw totally unique events like an annual French Bastille Day on July 14th with mimes, can-can dancers, a Moet Champagne Vending Machine and crêpes galore. During the summer, they had Summer Playdates every Monday morning for kiddos to meet superheroes, marvel at magic shows, and dance the Macarena.

Coming up, they'll have weekly Cowboys Watch Parties with the game on the big screen, an 80s Party on August 13th, and an authentic Oktoberfest weekend from September 27th - 29th.

Make your way up to the 3rd Floor Taproom for weekly Karaoke Mondays at 8pm and Tuesday Trivia with Geeks Who Drink at 7pm.
